I am the owner and photographer for JL Photography. My interest in photography started while in the Navy, when I began taking pictures with my first 35mm camera - a Pentax. When I left the Navy, I took a job photographing children and family groups in department stores all over the East Coast. In my free time I started to shoot some weddings, and in-home portraits. This was the beginning of JL Photography. Most of what I do is from referrals, and I have taken photos for a wide variety of events - including weddings, portraits, dance studios, graduations, sports team photos. In additon to JL Photography, I work full time in a field unrelated to photography, and am the Director of Photography for Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston (http://www.fineartsconnection.org/).
